Hey, just thought I'd update a couple of things going on with the kids.
First, Ian received a citizenship award at his school. I'm not sure what the criteria was for his being selected, but he was the only one in the whole school! He got a nifty certificate and a free dinner at a fancy restaurant in Farmington!
This past weekend, Cheni attended her first vocal music contest. It was her first time singing a solo in public (besides at church). For those of you not familiar with these types of contests, the participants are graded on a scale from 5 to 1 (5 being pretty bad, 1 being superior). Guess what? She got a 1 on her first try! It was really great to see. She has a great voice. She's trying out for All-state, like Tasha did last year. I think she's got a good chance of making it.
Anyway, just wanted to share those bits. Still no baby, though I know it will be very soon, so check back for those pictures (and hopefully video!)
