We're headed into spring. Normally for us that's like being strapped to the front of a rocket sled in a straight jacket hurtling screaming into a brick wall. Wrestling season starts, the high school music schedule heats up, and then the theater director drops a huge bomb of a play on the kids and there's 4 hours of rehearsal every night.
Fortunately, they did the musical in the winter this year, so that's one less thing, but we have another spring stresser this year - graduation. And it's 3 months away. Plus she's really gung ho about getting into a good college, so we're going through the whole applicaiton/financial aid process. (She's already been offered a "free ride" scholarship at the state University - without applying for financial aid. So I don't know what she's stressing about).
Anyway, so it's March. Technically not spring yet, but livi
ng this far south it does come sooner than the rest of the country. Unfortunately, it's short. We basically have three seasons: Cold (though not winter since it never snows), warm (lasts about a week), and Unbeleivably Freakin' Hot (it hits 104 by the end of March and doesn't let up until November - and just for fun there are a few days that approach 130).So watch for news as I have it. Hopefully we'll have senior pictures and stuff soon.
